#9 people lost in landslide in Yichang, Hubei
A landslide in Yue Shan Village, Changleping Town, Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County, Yichang City, Hubei Province at around 16:00 on July 8 has resulted in injuries and loss of life. The Ministry of Emergency Management immediately responded to the situation upon receiving a report and deployed forces to guide and assist with search and rescue operations.

At around 16:00 on July 8, a landslide occurred at the top of a mountain in Yue Shan Village, Changleping Town, Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County, Yichang City, Hubei Province, causing injuries and loss of people. As of 23:30 on the 8th, five people were rescued (one being rescued, four not in danger of death) and nine people remained missing after a full search and rescue.
