China Vows to Resist US 'Bullying' as Trade Tensions Escalate
The trade tensions between the United States and China have reached a boiling point, with the US imposing tariffs on Chinese goods and China vowing to take robust measures to protect its legitimate rights and interests. The US has announced plans to increase tariffs on Chinese goods, with some rates reaching as high as 84%, prompting strong opposition from China, which views the move as an attempt to exert extreme pressure and undermine its economic development. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated that China will not tolerate the US's "bullying and hegemonic behavior" and will take firm and resolute measures to defend its sovereignty and development interests.

China has repeatedly called for a return to negotiations and dialogue, but has made it clear that it will not back down in the face of US aggression. Lin Jian emphasized that "China's people's legitimate development rights cannot be deprived, and China's sovereignty and security development interests cannot be violated." The US's actions have been seen as a form of "bullying" and "hegemonic behavior," with China accusing the US of disregarding the interests of both countries and the international community.
The Chinese government has consistently emphasized its refusal to accept the extreme pressure and bullying tactics employed by the US, which it views as an attempt to impose its will through coercion. According to Lin Jian, the US has been recklessly imposing tariffs on China, resorting to extreme pressure tactics that amount to bullying. China strongly opposes such behavior and will not accept it. Lin reiterated that if the US genuinely wishes to resolve issues through dialogue and negotiation, it must adopt an attitude of equality, respect, and mutual benefit.

The imposition of tariffs by the US has been characterized by China as an unacceptable act of aggression. China's sovereignty, security, and developmental interests will not be compromised, and the country will continue to take firm and effective measures to safeguard its legitimate rights and interests. The Chinese government has emphasized that the country's people will not be intimidated by bullying or coercion, and that their right to development and security will be vigorously defended. As Lin Jian emphasized, China will not back down in the face of US aggression and will continue to take a strong stance in defense of its sovereignty and interests.
In a strongly worded statement, Lin Jian stressed that China will not tolerate the United States' actions, which he described as "bullying" and "extreme pressure." The Chinese people's right to development and China's sovereignty and security interests are non-negotiable and will be firmly defended. Lin Jian underscored that if the US genuinely wants to resolve issues through dialogue and negotiation, it should adopt an attitude of equality, respect, and mutual benefit. However, if the US disregards the interests of both countries and the international community, and insists on waging a trade war, China will respond in kind and fight to the end.
China will take resolute and powerful measures to safeguard its own interests, according to Chinese officials, who emphasized that Beijing will not back down in the face of extreme pressure and bullying tactics from the US. The Chinese government emphasized that it will take all necessary steps to protect its legitimate rights and interests, and will not compromise on issues related to its core concerns. This stance reflects China's growing confidence in its economic and military strength, as well as its determination to assert its position as a major world power. By taking a firm stance, China aims to send a clear message to the US and other countries that it will no longer be pushed around, and that its interests will be respected and protected at all costs.
