Ten years have passed since the collaborative development between Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei was elevated to the status of a national strategy. In this period, the region has focused on resolving the issue of Beijing's non-capital functions, allowing for the rational flow and allocation of resources and achieving innovative breakthroughs in production capacity through collaborative innovation.

The region's achievements in the past decade were highlighted by the New China News Agency through its social media account, which posted a video on microblogging platform Weibo, garnering over 530,000 views. This video outlined how the region has transformed from raw land to a flourishing hub, expanding its economic and urban reach to the surrounding provinces.

Among the notable figures in the region's development is Guo Yanping, the former deputy commander of the Daxing Airport Command and now one of the thousands of builders who witnessed the airport's growth from the ground up. In just 1,218 days, Guo and his team saw the airport transition from breaking ground to taking flight, symbolizing the transformation of the region.

In a Weibo post, the New China News Agency described the region's efforts as "connecting hearts," emphasizing the collaborative spirit that has marked the development of the region.

The collaborative spirit is also evident in the work of retired soldiers who were invited to write Spring Festival couplets and offer well-wishes to servicemen stationed in Old Palace Town in Daxing District. The event, which provided veterans with necessities such as meat, eggs, and dairy products, highlighted the importance of showing gratitude to those who have served their country. The video shared by the Daxing District Government on Weibo received over 83,000 views.

In another exemplary display of collaborative work, police officers from Liaoning and Yunnan provinces carried out a joint patrol operation covering the entire length of the country. The impressive 4,349-kilometer patrol, which was shared on Weibo by the police forces of both provinces, illustrated the commitment of law enforcement officers in maintaining public safety and security.

As the nation prepares to usher in the Year of the Rabbit, these stories of collaborative work and unity serve as a poignant reminder of the power of collective effort in addressing the challenges facing the region and country. Through their work, the people of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei continue to inspire others, demonstrating how the principle of "connecting hearts" can bring about lasting change and progress.

In the lead-up to the Chinese New Year, as people across the country reunite with their loved ones and cherish moments of togetherness, these stories shared on Weibo continue to foster a sense of pride and unity among the Chinese people. As the region and nation look forward to a brighter future, the power of unity, empathy, and cooperation will continue to pave the way for a more harmonious and prosperous society.
