Dreaming of a strong army

In an act of military assertiveness, the carrier formation of China's naval ship Shandong passed through the Taiwan Strait this year. The Chinese Navy has been conducting more frequent and extensive exercises in recent years to demonstrate its ability to protect its territorial claims.

During the passage, the carrier suddenly encountered foreign aircraft conducting reconnaissance missions. In response, the carrier adjusted its course, with pilot Zheng Ziqian and his comrades quickly preparing for takeoff. "Every takeoff is a combat takeoff, ready for combat!" said Pilot Zheng in a CCTV news microblogging video that showcased the readiness of China's military forces.

The incident has generated mixed reactions on Chinese social media platforms such as Weibo. Some netizens praised the action as a demonstration of China's commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty, while others expressed concern over potential escalation of tensions in the region.

A video of the Heilongjiang Communist Youth League shared on microblogging platforms also garnered attention. It features Sun Lichang, who after serving in the army for 13 years, transferred to work in the Liwan District Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau. The video highlights his commitment to public service and defense of China's territorial integrity.

Army Day also recently celebrated in China, with CCTV News releasing a microblogging video that showcased the Chinese Army's capabilities using Sun Tzu's "Art of War." This video collection went viral on Weibo, with many netizens expressing admiration for the army and its role in defending China.

One user commented: "The Chinese Army is so powerful! Our soldiers are always ready to defend our country!" Another added: "I salute all the brave men and women who serve in the People's Liberation Army!"

In a separate incident, a test pilot named Zheng Xin demonstrated quick reactions during a missile target test mission. The missile disintegrated just 200 meters from an aircraft, highlighting the importance of accurate targeting. "If the evasive maneuver is 0.5 seconds late, the missile fragments will collide with the aircraft, and the consequences are unimaginable!" said Test Pilot Zheng in response to the situation.

Despite tensions in the region, China remains committed to defending its territorial claims and demonstrating its military capabilities. The actions of Chinese pilots like Zheng Ziqian and Zheng Xin serve as a reminder of the importance of preparedness and quick decision-making in the face of potential threats.
