Heavy Rainfall Causes Widespread Flooding in Hebei's Zhuozhou City, Trapping Hundreds and Devastating Infrastructure

Zhuozhou City in Hebei Province has been severely affected by heavy rainfall and upstream flooding in Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei. The region is known for its logistics industry, and numerous publishing companies have suffered from flooded warehouses and lost books valued at over 30 million yards.
In a statement released by the Zhuozhou Public Security Network Spokesperson, it was revealed that the city is in dire need of boats to transport people, as the area is without water and parts of the electricity supply are also disrupted. The highway remains open, but access from the Zhuozhou exit is restricted due to flooding in the west of the city.
A resident stranded in Dama Village, part of West Taoyuan Street, shared a video on social media pleading for help after being trapped in their home with no electricity or drinking water since morning. The situation has become increasingly desperate as they fear they will not be rescued in time.
