#Man scattering $4 million in cash notes is looted

In a bizarre turn of events, a man in the Philippines was left devastated after he lost an estimated PHP4 million (approximately USD73,000) when his backpack containing the money broke and spilled cash all over Southbank Road. As shown in a video shared by @starvideo on social media platform Twitter, the entire road was covered with banknotes, which prompted drivers to stop their vehicles and frantically pick up the bills.

However, the story does not end there. The Daily Mail reported that when the police arrived at the scene, they managed to collect all the scattered cash and return it to its rightful owner. It seems that the incident has sparked a debate on human nature, with some users of social media platform Weibo criticizing Filipinos for their allegedly careless attitude towards money.

One user commented: "Money does not come from the wind, but it can be blown away by the wind this time depends on human nature, if he happens to meet people are kind to get a large part of it back, the other way around is a dumb loss." This opinion reflects the idea that the outcome of such an incident depends on the morals and values of those involved.

Another user noted: "Not to mention that many people would have picked it up and returned it to its rightful owner if it was in China," suggesting that cultural differences may play a role in how people respond to situations like this.

It is worth noting that in China, the possibility of finding the owner and returning lost items is often higher due to the collective responsibility culture. In many instances, Chinese citizens are more likely to help pick up the scattered cash and return it to its rightful owner than people from other countries might be.
