Two Young 'Heroes' Help Eradicate Poppy Plants in China, Highlighting Importance of Education in Fight Against Drugs

The police swiftly responded to the report and, upon arriving at the scene, confirmed that the plants were indeed poppies, specifically of the variety known as "Glaucium flavum" or yellow horned poppy, which is a Controlled Substance in China.

In total, 339 poppy plants were removed from the area.
